Growing up I spent many hours outdoors. It was a natural place for me to spend much of my time, and I felt at home sitting in a grove of trees or by a river.
I have been able to feel and hear the spirit of nature since childhood.
My earliest memories are of being in nature and
it has always been a natural place for me to find peace and healing.
To me, nature is always speaking to you. We just need to listen.
You can hear the call of the crow as the sun rises,
hear the whisper of the wind in the breeze as it speaks to you.
Hear the voice of the brook as it caresses the rock.
Hear the voice of the tree in the soft rustle of it's leaves or
in the piece of fallen wood, as it still holds wisdom.
When I found the practice of shamanism in 2013 and started an apprentice program, it was a natural process to incorporate it into my daily life.
It allowed me to go deeper into my connection with the earth and her nature beings. The practice of Shamanism for me is more than a practice,
it is a way of life.
I completed the 2 year Shamanic Apprentice Program
